V. Rev. Dr. Peter-Michael Preble, PA, AA, MTS, Ph.D., KGCC, KCO, KJ

Rev. Preble received an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. He received his Seminary training at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Brookline, Massachusetts, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree, with a concentration in Pastoral Psychology from the American International University in Indiana. He holds several certifications in trauma and stress including being a Diplomat with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.

Rev. Preble was ordained Deacon and Priest in 2004 in the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in the Americas and for 12 years served a Romanian Orthodox Parish in Southbridge, Massachusetts. In 2016 he was granted Ordained Ministerial Standing by the Pilgrim Association of the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ and had the high honor of serving as Moderator of the Pilgrim Association of the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ from 2019-2021.

In 2019 he was incardinated priest into the Independent Old Catholic Church by Bishop Thomas Bryant and in 2020 was elevated to Monsignor with the rank of Protonotary Apostolic and created Vicar Forane of New England in the Diocese of the Eastern United States of the Independent Old Catholic Church.

In 2022 he was received into the Ancient Apostolic Church of Alexandria.

In addition to Parochial Duties, Monsignor Preble serves as a spiritual counselor in a drug and alcohol treatment program. Monsignor also serves as Military Chaplain with the Massachusetts Organized Militia. Fire Department Chaplain with the Quincy Massachusetts Fire Department. Deputy Chief Chaplain with the Massachusetts Corps of Fire Chaplains. National Chaplain for the Sons of Union

Veterans of the Civil War. Rev. Preble has served parishes in the Romanian Orthodox Church as well as 3 parishes as interim minister in the United Church of Christ Rev. Preble has the honor of serving as Dean of the Royal College of Chaplain for the Royal House of Kamakahelei.

In 2022, Rev. Preble was created Knight Commander of the Order of the Star of Oceana and in 2023, he was created the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Crown of Hawaii.

Rev. Preble is married to the former Nicolette Meola and has one daughter Oonagh. Rev. Preble and his wife Nicky are living historians reenacting life in 18th and 19th century New England. He writes for his blog at www.frpetepreble.com and is active on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
